UTHSC's Institutional Research Cores are dedicated to the success of your project. They serve the UTHSC research community by providing access to state-of-the-art equipment and to expert consultation services.

Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs provides support to the faculty and staff of UTHSC (including components at the UT Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville and the Chattanooga unit of the College of Medicine) in their efforts to obtain external funding for research and other sponsored projects, while ensuring compliance with UT policy, sponsor policy and applicable law.

Office of Research Development

The Office of Research Development assists faculty in bridging the gap between innovative scientific ideas, securing extramural funding and establishing high-quality, leading-edge collaboratives.

Office of Clinical Research

The Office of Clinical Research has a mission to maximize expertise in the field of clinical research by providing research support to University of Tennessee Health Science Center affiliated investigators to improve the quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance for the conduct of clinical research.

Office of Research Safety Affairs

The Office of Research Safety Affairs promotes regulatory compliance in a manner that attempts to ease the burden placed on researchers, while providing health and safety at UTHSC and in the community at large.

Office of Scientific Writing

The Office of Scientific Writing is designed to assist research faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students in the mechanics of writing successful research grant proposals and scientific manuscripts.
